Habitat: In a floristically diverse mesic forest with no sign of past logging. Canopy dominated by Fraxinus nigra and Betula papyrifera.
Associated Species: Other species collected here include Botrypus virginianus, Carex brunnescens, Equisetum pratense, Carex peckii, Matteuccia struthiopteris var. pensylvanica.
Description: Localized in a low wet spot.
