Habitat: Growing in wet peat. A sedge meadow with a swamp along the margin. The open areas dominated by Calamagrostis canadensis and Carex lacustris.
Associated Species: Other specimens collected here include Schoenoplectus tabernaemontani, Acorus americanus, Carex atherodes, Lysimachia thyrsiflora.
