Habitat:
In a calcareous fen near a site of strong upwelling. Location characterized by exposed marl at the soil surface and short statured vegetation. Associate species include Cladium mariscoides, Rhynchospora capillacea, Schoenoplectus acutus, and Carex sterilis.
