Habitat:
In shallow, ~.5m water habitat along narrow channel between lakes. One group at edge of shore fen. Firmly rooted in organic substrate among angular cobbles. Associates: Carex lasiocarpa, Dulichium aurundinaceum, Nuphar sp., Glyceria borealis, Eleocharis sp., Myrica gale, Chamaedaphne calyculata.

Locally common. One group of ten plants in 1x1m area.
