Habitat: Moist, coniferous forest in lower montane zones
Description: Plant: 12 cm-30 cm tall arising from deep rhizomes. Leaves narrow sharp-pointed needles 22-5 cm long. Reproductive parts in 2 cm-4 cm long yellow spikes located at the tips of erect braches.
