Habitat: In mesic soil at the edge of an oak-aspen woods. Associated with Quercus macrocarpa, Populus tremuloides, P. balsamifera, Corylus americana.
Description: A large dense clone 8 m x 5 m in area. The largest stem 3 m tall, 3 cm basal diameter. Inflorescence erect to asending.
