Habitat: In edge of floating mat on margin of small boggy lake. In Sphagnum moss. Full sun. Plants just above water level. Lake surrounded by floating mat and a stand of Picea mariana and Larix laricina. Associates: Carex lasiocarpa, C. limosa, Dulichium arundinaceum, Rhynchospora alba, Vaccinium macrocarpa, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Drosera intermedia, Menyanthes trifoliata, Triadenum fraseri, Lycopus uniflorus, Hypericum boreale, Pogonia ophioglossoides.
