Stamens ca 10, anthers white; no compound thorns, but simple thorns numerous Stem height ca 2.5 m, diameter 2-5 cm, branches ascending; Est 1-2 days before peak of anthesis (spring ca 1 wk late) Collected from same stem as WRS 26427 (fruiting specimen)
