Rolling terrain ... on hummocks in tamarack swamp dominated by patchy to dense, mature Larix laricina. Associates include Carex leptalea, C. gynocrates, C. magellanica, C. brunnescens, Pyrola secunda, P. asarifolia, Caltha palustris, Saxifraga pennsylvanica, Smilacina trifoliata, Thelypteris palustris, Platanthera hyperborea, Malaxis uniflora, Mitella nuda, Rubus pubescens, Cypripedium reginae, Linnaea borealis, Cornus canadensis, Lonicera villosa, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Andromeda glaucophylla, Ledum groenlandicum, Alnus incana, Betula glandulifera.
