Habitat: Small (2-acre) peat-filled basin. No Sphagnum or ericads but scattered shrubs such as dominated by Salix petiolaris and S. discolor. Abundant in the wettest area. Associated with Carex chordorrhiza, C. lasiocarpa, C. echinata, C. prairea, C. comosa.
