Verbatim Elevation: 3000 to 4000 feet
Habitat: On the ridge west of the Hanapepe river it waas found growing in damp woods among other ferns, but not plentifully. Above Waimea it was more plentiful in deep woods along streams, and was also of a much more luxuriant growth.
