Habitat: Steep (55 degree), north-facing bedrock slope on subtle shelves with Corydalis sempervirens, Polypodium virginianum, Danthonia spicata, Pleurozium schreberi, Polytrichum sp. and assorted lichens, etc. Several similar appearing clumps at location.
Associated Species: Pinus banksiana, Maianthemum canadense, Cypripedium acaule, Danthonia spicata, etc.
