Habitat: Southwest- facing cliff on lake with Woodsia ilvensis, W. alpina and Cystopteris fragilis.
Associated Species: Pinus resinosa plantation in sandy soils with Corylus cornuta, Rubus idaeus, Eurbia macrophylla, Pteridium aquilinum, Carex diandra, C. interior, etc.
