Habitat: Just west of N-facing cliff on N-facing bedrock slope with Betula papyrifera, Picea glauca, Cornus canadensis, Mainanthemum canadense, Hylocomium splendens, etc. Assorted Huperzia morphologies in this local.
Associated Species: Pinus resinosa plantation in sandy soils with Corylus cornuta, Rubus idaeus, Eurbia macrophylla, Pteridium aquilinum, Carex diandra, C. aurea, etc.
