Habitat: Rock outcrop along the side of portage with Rubus idaeus, Danthonia spicata, Poa pratense, Polytrichum, lichen, etc. Assorted small clumps scattered on bedrock.
Associated Species: Rhododendron groenlandicum, Alnus incana, Rhamnus alnifolia, Menyanthes trifoliata, Equisetum sylvaticum, Sphagnum, etc.
