Habitat: Local area of topographical relief with scattered rock walls / cliffs. NNE-facing sloping bedrock in mossy blankets with Polypodium virginianum, Pleurozium schreberi, Dicranum sp., British soldiers, Polytrichum sp. Peltigera sp., etc. Local patches.

Associated Taxa: Phalaris arundinacea, Calamagrosits canadensis, Carex diandra, C. pseudocyperus, etc.
