Habitat: Local area of topographical relief with scattered rock walls / cliffs. NNE-facing sloping bedrock in mossy blankets with Polypodium virginianum, Pleurozium schreberi, Dicranum sp., British soldiers, Polytrichum sp. Peltigera sp., etc. Local patches.
Associated Species: Thuja occidentalis, Caltha palustris, Impatiens capensis, Athyrium felix-femina, Equisetum arvense, Glyceria striata, Carex lacustris, C. projecta, C. retrorsa, C. vaginata, etc.
