Habitat: Upper ecotone of seasonally water filled wetland depression in greater mixed Populus tremuloides forest with Quercus macrocarpa, Acer rubrum, Spiraea alba, Iris versicolor, Equisetum sylvaticum, etc.
Associated Species: Rubus idaeus, Corylus cornuta, Ribes americanum, Pteridium aquilinum, etc.
Description: Stems more or less trailing; flowers in leaf axils.
