Habitat: Picea mariana swamp with Rhododendron groenlandicum, Betula pumila, Vaccinium vitis-idaea, V. oxycoccus, Gaultheria hispidula, Listera cordata, Maianthemum trifolium, Sphagnum, etc. Scattered black spruce overstory and assorted dead and down.
Associated Species: Spiraea alba, Sium suave, Lycopus uniflorus, Mimulus ringens, Onoclea sensibilis, Scirpus cyperinus, etc.
