Habitat: Bedrock outcrop and Pinus banksiana-Quercus rubra woodland with P. strobus, Acer rubrum, Vaccinium angustifolium, Campanula rotundifolia, Selaginella rupestris, Dichanthelium xanthophysum, Carex tonsa var. rugosperma, Polytrichum sp., etc.
Associated Species: Sagittaria rigida, Scirpus cyperinus, Eleocharis palustris, Glyceria borealis, etc.
