Habitat: Bedrock outcrop and Pinus banksiana-Quercus rubra woodland with P. strobus, Acer rubrum, Vaccinium angustifolium, Campanula rotundifolia, Dichanthelium xanthophysum, Carex tonsa var. rugosperma, Polytrichum sp., reindeer lichens, etc.
Associated Species: Fragaria virginiana, Lotus corniculatus, Hieracium piloselloides, Fallopia cilinodis, Agrostis scabra, Danthonia spicata, Eragrostis pectinacea, etc.
