Habitat: Bedrock outcrop with Vaccinium angustifolium, Rubus sp., Campanula rotundifolia, Danthonia spicata, Dichanthelium xanthophysum, Carex tonsa var. rugosperma, Polytrichum sp., reindeer lichens, etc.
Associated Species: Larix laricina, Populus balsamifera, Alnus incana, Salix pyrifolia, S. lucida, Doellingeria umbellata, Symphyotrichum puniceum, Solidago canadensis, S. nemoralis, Pedicularis canadensis, etc.
