Habitat: Recently expanded and disturbed gravel pit with Geranium bicknellli, Medicago sativa, Leucanthemum vulgare, Carex houghtoniana, Elymus repens, etc. Plants of various sizes scattered at several locations in pit. Corolla white; full bloom.
Associated Species: P. strobus, Betula papyrifera, Picea mariana, Vaccinium agustifolium, Cornus canadensis, Pteridium aquilium, etc.
