Habitat: East-facing bedrock exposure in Pinus banksiana woodland adjacent to small lake-pond with Diervilla lonicera, Comptonia peregrina, Apocynum androsaemifolium, Polypodium virginianum, Dantonia spicata, Dichanthelium xanthosphysum, etc.
Associated Species: Alnus incana, Rubus idaeus, Cornus canadensis, Equisetum sylvaticum, Calamagrosits canadensis, etc.
