Habitat: Along a small, intermittently pooled drainage with Acer rubrum, Populus tremuloides, Diervilla lonicera, Trientalis borealis, Lycopus uniflorus, Coptis trifolia, Lycopodium dendroideum, Gymnocarpium dryopteris, etc.
Associated Species: Vaccinium angustifolium, Eurybia macrophylla, Melampyrum lineare, Pteridium aquilium, Oryzopsis asperifolia, etc.
