Habitat: Damp, sandy, abandoned railroad grade cut through open Larix laricina swamp with Doellingeria umbellata, Equisetum fluviatile, E. arvense, Castilleja coccinea, Poa pratensis, Carex vulpinoidea, etc.
Associated Species: Picea glauca, Diervilla lonicera, Galeopsis tetrahit, Aralia nudicaulis, Doellingeria umbellata, Achillea millefolium, etc.
