Habitat: Wet, sandy, abandoned railroad grade cut through open Larix laricina swamp with Betula pumila, Salix petiolaris, Conzya canadensis, Sisyrinchium montanum, Equisetum fluviatile, Juncus dudleyi, Eleocharis quinqueflora, Carex vulpinoidea, etc.
