Locality: United States, Minnesota, Koochiching, Koochiching State Forest. Approximately 7.7 miles southwest of Ray, MN. Approximately 1.44 miles south of Highway 217 on the Galvin Road then generally east of FR ~ 0.27 miles.

Habitat: Old opening adjacent to forest road with Leucanthemum vulgare, Fragaria virginiana, Equisetum arvense, Carex castanea, Luzula acuminata, etc. Plants seemingly local in several small patches.
Associated Species: P. banksiana, Betula papyrifera, Comptonia perigrina, Rumex acetosella, Pteridium aquilinum, Oryzopsis asperifolia, Piptatherum pungens, etc.
Description: Lateral petals bearded; lip glabrous
