Habitat: Old Populus tremuloides and Acer rubrum forest with Betula papyrifera, Aralia nudicaulis, Eurybia macrophylla, Dryopteris carthusianana, Milium effusum, Carex brunnescens, etc. Scattered dead & down with lush ground cover of Lycopodium dendroideum.
