Habitat:
Plants growing in filtered light of Picea mariana/Larix larcinia poor conifer swamp. Emerging from Pleurozium schreberi and Sphagnum carpet. Sparse ground cover.
Associated Species:
Associates: Mitella nuda, Maianthemum canadense, Carex sp., Gaultheria hispida, Trientalis borealis, Rubus pubescens.
