Habitat: Locally abundant in lawn-like patches in zone of poor fen lying between old two-track, corduroy road, much of it flooded, and black spruce bog conifer swamp in large peatland complex. Growing from saturated Sphagnum.
Associated Species: Associates: Menyanthes trifoliata, Equisetum fluviatile, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Mainthemeum candense, Betula pumila, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Carex brunnescens, Calamagrostis sp., Potentilla palustris, Carex utriculata.
