Associated Species: Associates include Rhamnus alnifolia, Dryopteris carthusiana, Thelypteris palustris, Aralia nudicaulis, Athyrium felix-femina, Chelone glabra, Thuja occidentalis.
Notes: About 1.5 meter tall
