Habitat: Occasional in lush, shady swamp of cedar swamp in large peatland complex. Growing among frequent pool from low Sphagnum hummocks.
Associated Species: Associates: Rhododendron groenlandicum, Trientalis borealis, Alnus incana, Rubus pubescens, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Potentilla palustris, Calla palustris, Maianthemum trifolia, Chelone glabra, Rumex brittanica, Vaccinium oxycoccus.
