Habitat: Locally common in on outer margin of shore fen developed around small peatland basin pond in which in-fill is nearly complete. Growing beneath lush Carex lasiocarpa.
Associated Species: Thelypteris palustris, Potentilla palustris, Symphyotrichum boreale, Salix pedicilaris, Campanula aparinoides, Menyanthes trifoliata, Galium trifidum, Carex limosa, Cicuta bulbifera, Carex chordorrhiza, Epilobium sp., Eriophorum sp..
