Habitat: Occasional in moist bottoms of shallow depressions/pools among tree bases and woody debris in shady lowland wet forest and ash swamp complex. Growing from peaty substrate.
Associated Species: Assoc: Alnus incana, Carex stipata, Carex lacustris, Carex leptalea, Poa sp., Lycopus uniflora, Cinna latifolia, Cardamine pratensis v. palustris.
Notes: Most flowering.
