Sotheast facing 12 deree slope of rock outcrop exposed by severe wild fire in 2011.
Substrate:
Growing in mats of shallow organics over thin gravelly sandy loam. Ground cover sparse.
Associated Species:
Amelanchier sp., Vaccinium angustifolia, Diervilla lonicera, Carex cf.tonsa, Dicanthelium depauperatum and bryophytes including Funaria hygrometrica.
