Habitat: Area once largely Thuja, old stumps 2 1/2 ft. or more across. Now all regrowth of Lodgepole Pino, Birch and seedlings of White Fir; regrowth about 10 ft. tall. Dense shade. Valley floor with stream to W of road quite wet in places
