Habitat: Growing in accumulated damp silt on top of exposed bedrock streambed. This area would be inundated at high water. Growing in association with Bidens spp., Phalaris arundinacea, Rhamnus cathartica, Ulmus americana, Campanul rotundifolia and graminoids.
