moist silt loam forming sod colonies near seepage area. In mature formerly grazed maple-basswood forest; canopy 90% cover, NE-aspect, 30% slope, lower slope, dark clay silt loam. Carex jamesii, Allium triccocum, Hepatica acutiloba. Dom by Acer saccharum.
