Habitat: Locally common in small (~1-acre) depression. Sedge meadow / rich fen dominated by Carex utriculata. Slightly spongy saturated peat. Full sun. Interrupted carpets of Sphagnum mosses.
Associated Species: Additional associates include Dulichium arundinaceum, Scirpus cyperinus, Epilobium leptophyllum, Cicuta bulbifera, Calla palustris, Triadenum fraseri, Lysimachia thyrsiflora.
