Habitat: Very locally common on the margin of a small poor fen in a ~3-acre depression. Forming patches in exposed saturated peat in a fairly large area (~1,500 square feet) that was a shallow pool earlier in the season. Full sun to partial shade.
Associated Species: Associates include Sparganium natans, Utricularia intermedia, Persicaria amphibia, Potentilla palustris, Bidens cernua, Potamogeton sp.
