Habitat: Local in moist, mucky-organic soil along narrow beaver-excavated channels and along edge of moat (both of which are mostly dry due to drought conditions) on the margin of a small poor shrub fen in a ~3-acre depression. Full sun. Several dozen robust clumps encountered.
Associated Species: Associates include Calamagrostis canadensis, Glyceria canadensis, Carex utriculata, Potentilla palustris, Galium trifidum, Calla palustris, Sparganium glomeratum, Bidens cernua.
