Habitat: Frequent on upper portion of dry, 30- to 60-foot, south-facing dolomite cliffs which form the mid- to upper portion of an extremely steep, 250-foot bluff. In crevices and on narrow ledges. Full sun to partial shade of Juniperus virginiana.
Associated Species: Associates include Artemisia caudata ssp. campestris, Pellaea glabella, Commandra umbellata, Muhlenbergia cuspidata, Poa compressa.
