Habitat: Uncommon and local along the outer margin of a poor sedge fen in a small (~5-acre) basin. Several dozen plants in moist organic substrate in rather sparsely-vegetated area with a fair amount of exposed substrate, which is drier than typical due to late summer drought conditions. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associated species include Carex utriculata, C. oligosperma.
