Habitat: Poor acid peatland with continuous cover of black spruce
Substrate: Hummocks of sphagnum moss
Associated Species: Picea mariana, Maianthemum trifolium, Carex trisperma, Gaultheria hispidula, Vaccinium angustifolium, Chamaedaphne calyculata
Description: Low shrub, 0.5 m tall, flowers creamy white
