Habitat: A few plants scattered widely in Thuja occidentalis swamp in pools with Sphagnum carpet. Most are sterile.
Associated Species: Growing in Plagiomnium and Thuidium mosses with Alnus incana, Mitella nuda, and Rubus pubescens.
