Associated Species: growing with Quercus rubra, Q. montana, Carya glabra, Juniperus virginiana, Viburnum acerifolia, Vaccinium angustifolium, Gaylussacia baccata, Carex pensylvanica, Uvularia sessilifolia, Maianthemum racemosum.
Description: Leaves with blueish tinge.
