Habitat: Common in mesic to wet-mesic prairie remnant. Dominated by Sorghastrum nutans, Andropogon gerardii, Dichanthelium leibergii and Schizachyrium scoparium.
Associated Species: Associates: Helianthus maximiliani, Gentiana andrewsii, Silphium laciniatum, Asclepias sullivantii, Spiranthes magnicamporum, Arnoglossum plantagineum, Solidago rigida.
