TREE to 11.81m in height, DBH 11.7cm, trunk height to foliage 1.28m, crown height 10.53m, crown width 5m, OUTER BARK smooth, FISSURES vertical, narrow, BARK light brown, WOOD brown, light brown, EXUDATE absent, DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot.

Local Name: karofang, Local Use: timber for house and fence construction; firewood; fruit is a food source for cassowaries and is used in hunting
