TREE to 14.87m in height, DBH 16.3cm, trunk height to foliage 4.87m, crown height 10m, crown width 6m, OUTER BARK smooth, FISSURES vertical, narrow, BARK brown, white, cream, WOOD brown, light brown, EXUDATE absent, DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot.

Local Name: karofang, Local Use: timber for house and fence construction; firewood; fruit is a food source for cassowaries and is used in hunting
